The branch meets at the Town Hall in the High Street
On
the first Tuesday of each month at 20:00 Hrs.
The Welfare of the Ex Service is our Primary concern. Whether it be helping with the purchase of a Stairlift, Motorised Scooter, Wheelchair for the disabled, or maybe helping a family who may find themselves in difficulty. We also help by giving advice on small business loans, or someone may need a period of Convalescence after being ill, then The Royal British Legion may be able to help.
WHO CAN JOIN THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION?
The Legion now has a Single Membership, giving all members equal rights to participate in Branch, County and National decision-making processes of the organisation. Applicants under the age of eighteen will be entered as Youth Members.
The move to a Single Membership does not change the status of the beneficiary, the person who is the object of our fundraising and benevolence activities. The only people who can benefit from our funds remain the members of the Service and ex-Service community who are in need.
